Thank you for stopping by to check out my website and blog. In my private life I am a proud mother and grandmother of humans, with a nice sprinkling of cats and a dog to liven up the household. Coffee and prayers keep me going all morning, while afternoons and evenings are for tea. Keeps everybody happy when I buy coffee and tea!
Gardening is a great hobby until summer hits south Texas. Then all bets are off. What the sun doesn’t kill, the heat will. Thank God for air conditioning in the house and in the car and in every building we enter in the summer heat!
Besides being a voracious reader, I inevitably while away my evenings engaged in producing something made with a needle. It could be knitting, needlework, quilting, or sewing. It is impossible for me to sit in front of a television screen and not keep my idle hands busy. This leads to some whining by the cats who believe they belong on my lap, not the stitching. Compromises must be made to keep all the sweet little critters happy and not whining at me.
In addition to being a Christian and writer, I am pianist and organist. That means my days are filled with playing piano and writing, reading for research, keeping the livestock in check and the plants alive. There is certainly no boredom in my daily life!
My hope is that you find words of wisdom, humor, and solace in these pages as you come back to read.
I will update you on the progress for the new book as I write it. In case you're curious, the title is Beyond the Sacred Page.
My prayers go with you all as you journey in enriching your relationship with our awesome God. There is no moment when God is not with us, no moment when He is not aware of what we face, no moment when He is not directing us. Even if we really cannot feel it. He seeks us everywhere and every day. We can respond in kind to His invitation to the dance. Be joyful as you meet our living Savior.
Have a very blessed day.
Patricia
